MERMS User Guide
Email Notifications
INTRODUCTION > Email Notifications

MERMS uses email notifications to alert users at every stage of the reporting process. The email notifications alert the relevant users of every event that takes place that affects them in the process. These notifications are sent out in stages as follows;

The first notification is sent out to each Submitter, five days before the reporting period opens (sending a copy of the email to their Verifier and to M&E).

The second notification is sent out to each Submitter on the day the reporting period opens, to notify them that they may start capturing the performance results of the indicators allocated to them (sending a copy of the email to their Verifier and to M&E).

Both email notifications contain the list of indicators that the Submitter must report on for the reporting period mentioned in the email, as well as the URL to the MERMS application

After the above-mentioned notifications, every time a workflow stage in the reporting process is completed, a notification is sent out to the affected users

For example;

For every email notification sent, a copy is sent to M&E, to keep them up to date with the progress of each report
